The setting of home learning enables parents to:
- Become more familiar with their children’s classroom learning
- Encourage their children to work independently at home.
The aim of home learning is to revise and reinforce relevant skills acquired in class.
For the guidance of staff and parents we suggest the time spent by the children in completing home learning should not normally exceed the following
P1 & P2 — 20 minutes
P3 – P5 — 30 minutes
P6 & P7 — 45 minutes to 1 hour
As a general rule, home learning will be set each day from Monday to Thursday. This will be relaxed on special occasions and close to school holiday dates.
Parents are requested to sign completed home learning activities.
